Weather permitting, ceremony and reception will be held in the gardens of the venue, Agriturismo Podere Lamone e Lamino. The venue has a Plan B option for reception in case of rain.

Both sides of the families will be sharing a dinner the night before the wedding in one of the restaurants in Monticchiello square. If you are staying in Monticchiello, guests are welcome to join us. All we ask is that you inform us ahead of time or by the time you RSVP so we can reserve enough tables in the restaurant. The day after the wedding, we will be lounging around the pool in the rented villa for some hang over cure. Once again, guests are welcome to join us or just to pop in to say 'Hi' if you are planning your own excursions.

We have set the deadline for the RSVPs three months prior to the wedding date, on April 1, 2025. This is early as our vendors need the actual number months prior to the wedding as well. We will add a contact number (Whatsapp) and a RSVP link in the website for easy responses.

We have listed some B&Bs that are near our venue in the 'Travel' section. Since it is wedding season in Italy, we recommend to book it way ahead (> 6 months prior). Some farmhouses usually cater 6-8 people and it is better to group yourselves, thus making it cheaper for all. Monticchiello is the best place as a base as well as some accommodations are < 5 mins drive away or walking distance only. If by any chance, the listed accommodations are all not available, please reach out to us as we have further lists provided by the venue.

Tuscany is best to be explored by renting a car. We understand that it might be tricky with the ZTLs (Limited traffic zone) or because driving is on the opposite side for the UK drivers. ZTL signs are marked with an open red circle on a white background with words-- 'Zona Traffico Limitato'. These are often common in busier Italian city centres like Rome, Florence and Siena. If your accommodation is inside a ZTL, please contact your hotel to ask about parking spaces and regulations. Other option for transport: pre-booking transport pick up, which we imagine might be more expensive unless you group yourselves into 4-6 to divide the costs. If you decide to pre-book transport, might we suggest to have you pick up in a nearby city nearer Monticchiello such as Siena, Florence or Assisi.

There are only a few cities that are serviced with trains in the province of Siena. Nearest to Monticchielo is Siena city centre where you can have a direct train from Florence while from Rome there is a direct train to Chiusi. Siena city centre is 1 hr away drive from Monticchielo while Chiusi is 41 min drive away.

We would love for everyone to wear any white/ivory/cream shirt or dress during the welcome dinner (July 07) while there are no dress codes during the after wedding gathering (July 09). Anything garden casual for both dates.

We encourage everyone to wear a semi- formal/cocktail attire. Maxi/midi, flowy dresses for ladies and linen shirts/suits for the men. Since it is summer, any light material will be recommended. Think of summer sunset and citrus colours. Our wedding colours will be shades of oranges, pinks and yellows.

It is our vision to have an intimate wedding. Aside from budget reasons, we would really take this time to have both sides of the family to get to know as this might be the only time to gather all of them in one event. We have extended invitations mostly to families and their plus ones. But other than those, we humbly request for our vision to be respected.
